Collaboration with Leica Camera - International Exhibitions
My collaboration with Leica Camera was a defining chapter in my development as a fine-art nude photographer—especially because of the close connection to the Leica Galleries, which opened up a whole new world for my work.
The Beginning: An Editorial to Set the Stage
It all began with an editorial in Leica S Magazine. That was where my nude photography was first published in the context of nude art.
For me, that was the moment when my work gained visibility in a setting that stands for the highest standards of photographic quality. At the same time, it marked my entry into the world of the Leica Galleries, which are internationally recognized as a platform for sophisticated photographic art.
Porto: The Launch at the Leica Galleries
My career as an exhibiting artist really began in Porto—at one of the Leica galleries.
This first exhibition set the tone: About 20 large-format nude photographs were presented in a deliberately museum-like atmosphere. A clean layout, plenty of space, and large prints.
The Leica Galleries provided exactly the setting my work needs:
Peace
Concentration
a curated, high-quality environment
This wasn't about decoration, but about artistic presence.
Continuity in the Leica Galleries Across Europe
Following the opening in Porto, a ongoing collaboration developed with the Leica Galleries in various European cities. My work has been exhibited at the following locations, among others:
Salzburg
Rome
Stuttgart
Each of these Leica galleries has its own character—both architecturally and in terms of atmosphere. And yet they are all united by a clear curatorial vision: to take photography seriously as an art form and to give it space.
For me, that meant:
to view my work in an international context
to reach different audiences
and at the same time maintain a consistent level of presentation quality
The Role of the Leica Galleries in My Development
For me, the Leica Galleries were more than just exhibition spaces. They became an important part of my artistic development.
Thanks to my regular presence in the Leica Galleries, I was able to:
further refine my visual language
Consistently present large-format works
and solidify my position as a fine art nude photographer
This continuity has given my work new visibility and, at the same time, a clear place within the field of artistic photography.
Leica as a Way of Life
For me, the collaboration with Leica Camera also reflects an attitude that is closely linked to the Leica Galleries:
Focusing on the Essentials
Precision in the Details
a mindful, unhurried perspective
These values align closely with my own approach—especially when it comes to sensuality and the female gaze.
My career has been closely linked to the Leica Galleries. From my first editorial in Leica S Magazine to exhibitions in Porto, Salzburg, Rome, and Stuttgart, it has been a continuous journey.
The Leica Galleries have not only opened up new spaces for me, but have also provided a platform where my work could flourish—steadily, consistently, and with international visibility.
